About the Emergency Medicine Patient Safety Foundation
The Emergency Medicine Patient Safety Foundation (EMPSF) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2003 to improve patient safety in Emergency Medicine. We accomplish this by:
- Providing Emergency Medicine practitioners access to patient safety research, training, and best practice development opportunities
- Empowering risk managers with benchmarking data and tools for reducing error rates
- Providing partnering, sponsorship, and advertising opportunities to Emergency Medicine equipment and service vendors and related organizations that wish to demonstrate their commitment to patient safety issues and awareness
All contributions to the EMPSF are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law.
